How Wynna works

A quick tour for parents: watch the four-minute walkthrough, then read the step-by-step guide and the questions other parents ask most.

The full walkthrough: how to set up a profile, add a subject, and what your child sees.

A quick guide

From signing in to your child's first mission, here's the whole flow.

  1. 01

    Create your child's profile

Sign in with your email. There is no password to remember. Add a profile with the name or nickname your child will use. A separate child login is not needed.

  2. 02

    Pick a world

Your child chooses Heroes of the Forge or Mermaids of the Sea. The choice can be changed at any time without losing progress.

  3. 03

Add a subject from real schoolwork

Upload past papers, worksheets, photos of textbook pages or typed notes: for any subject. Wynna reads them and builds revision around that exact material, not a generic syllabus.

  4. 04

    Check the revision

Before your child starts, you check the generated topics and questions. Nothing appears in revision until you approve it.

  5. 05

Your child revises: and you watch progress

Your child earns XP, streaks, and characters by practising. The parent dashboard shows completed practice, progress and useful next steps.

Frequently asked questions

What is Wynna?

A revision app that turns material for the next test into focused practice. Upload a revision sheet, notes, worksheets or past papers. Wynna creates quizzes, key-fact drills and writing challenges, with step-by-step hints that guide thinking without giving away answers, and team characters earned through practice.

What age is it for?

School-age children. The two worlds let you match the tone: Mermaids of the Sea is gentler for younger revisers, Heroes of the Forge suits children who want a bolder challenge.

Which subjects does it cover?

Any subject. Wynna isn't limited to a fixed list: it's built from whatever you upload, whether that's science, maths, history, geography or a language. If your child is studying it, you can turn it into revision.

Is it safe for my child?

Yes. Content is checked before your child sees it. If an automated check is unsure, the content is held back for review. There is no public child profile, chat with strangers or advertising. See the Safety page for details.

Does the AI learn from my child's data?

No. Your child's answers, writing and uploaded material are used only to provide practice and feedback. This information is not used to train AI models, sold or used for advertising.

How much does it cost?

Wynna is free during our beta and you don't need a card to start. We'll always tell you well before anything changes.

What devices does it work on?

Any modern web browser: phone, tablet or computer. There's nothing to download from an app store.

Do I need to stay with my child during revision?

You handle setup and check the generated topics and questions. After that your child can revise independently, and you can check progress whenever you like from the parent dashboard.

Does the learning helper give away the answers?

No. The learning helper uses step-by-step clues, sentence starters, and guiding questions to help your child think through the problem. It is designed to build understanding, never to hand over raw answers.
