Safety at Wynna
Wynna is made for children. Safety is built into every feature from the start. This page explains how we protect your child and the account data.
Everything your child sees is checked
Wynna uses AI to create practice and give feedback. AI responses and uploaded material pass through automated safety checks. If a check is unsure, the content is not shown.
- Text written by your child is checked before it is processed.
- Helper replies are checked before appearing on screen.
- Uploaded notes and photos are checked before practice is created.
- Generated practice receives a final safety check.
The AI does not learn from your child's data
Answers, writing and uploaded material are sent to OpenAI only to provide practice and feedback. Our account is configured to prevent this content from being used to train models. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
No child account or public profile
Your child uses a profile inside your account. You can choose a name or nickname. We do not collect the child's email address, phone number or location. There are no public profiles, chats with strangers or adverts.
You stay in control
The parent dashboard lets you check progress, edit a profile and delete one child's data or the whole account. Deleting a profile permanently removes the progress and writing saved for that profile.
Child privacy from the start
Wynna follows the principles of the UK Children's Code, including high privacy settings, minimal data collection and location always switched off.
